Job Description
Role : Sr. Lawyer– Litigation
Location : Mumbai
Qualification : LLB
Experience : 7 to 8 years
Job Description :
• Manage end-to-end litigation including civil, criminal, arbitration, consumer, and recovery matters.
• Draft, review, and vet legal pleadings, notices, replies, affidavits, and agreements.
• Coordinate with external advocates, law firms, and regulatory bodies.
• Formulate litigation strategy and ensure timely action in all assigned cases.
• Monitor legal recovery matters including NI Act cases, Arbitration, DRT/DRAT, IBC.
• Support pre-litigation activities such as dispute resolution, legal notices, and settlement processes.
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory guidelines applicable to the organisation.
• Provide legal advisory to business, collections, and operations teams.
• Conduct regular reviews of ongoing litigation and maintain MIS dashboards.
• Mitigate legal risks by identifying gaps and recommending corrective measures.
• Represent the company before courts, authorities, and tribunals wherever required.
