Senior Legal Counsel, 3 to 6 years in Hyderabad

Job Description

• Contract Vetting, Reviewing, Comparing, Responding with changes & comments, Risk mitigation etc. Involved in litigation support lines of service, including legal research, contract management, and document review.
• Doc management: Organizing & maintaining soft/hard copies of documents (including but not limited to MSAs, NDAs, Partnership Agreements, Contracts, Notices, MOUS, NOCs, caveats, orders, registration copies, etc.) Summary sheet, Reminders etc.
• Draft, revise, and/or tailor contracts for internal and external clients according to requirements. Vetting and drafting various documents (including but not limited to Licensing Contracts, Acquisition Contracts, Notices, MOUs, etc.), List of Mandatory Clauses, alternate clauses, Check lists, etc.
• Render support to senior legal counsel and/or external counsel as required across many different areas, including reviewing legal risks; reviewing litigation strategy; due diligence of contracts and other transaction documentation.
• Working on various applicable laws like IPR laws, Contract laws Company laws, IT related laws.
• Responsible for adhering to all policies and processes of the Company. Co-ordinate with other departments and resolve queries.
• Must take any other work as assigned by management from time to time.
• Assist in negotiation and closure of contracts with customers, vendors, and strategic partners across the globe (especially in the US and India geographical areas).

• Excellent verbal and written communication with command over English language.
• Ability to present confidently to manage legal concepts.
• Attention to detail, legal research skills, highly organized for management of documents, Willingness to learn, professional attitude and ability to stretch long hours.
• Desire to work across a very broad range of disciplines.
• Flexibility to provide legal support to our US and India operations as necessary.
• Good ability to communicate with clients with patience and able to handle work pressure.
• Ability to draft Agreements/ Contracts and understand the law.
• Should have legal practicing knowledge.
• If required, he should attend legal matters of Adaequare and its Directors as a representative while assisting the external counsel/ law firms and/ or Courts for the company where required.
