Job description
As a Finance Manager, you will be setting business strategies, making business decisions, planning, and analyzing every part. You will also be involved in Tax, Treasury, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Corporate Strategy, Accounting, Internal Controls for the company, and finances on a cross-functional team that supervises a brand, a service, or a major project. Your career at P&G will be filled with meaningful and diverse assignments crafted to improve your functional expertise and develop your broader business and leadership skills.

  • Successful delivery of the business critical metrics
  • Drive effective business planning and cost efficiency.
  • Influence and lead business partners; build organizational financial acumen
  • Budget management and internal controls.
  • Financial assessment & business model development for new initiatives to ensure successful launch.
  • Financial analysis to enable to breakthrough value creation for major initiatives & projects.
  • Lead strategy development with business unit and partners when we do long range planning.
  • Long term portfolio strategy design to drive business balanced profitable growth.

Responsibilities of the role
  • Provide support and advice to multi-functional teams to improve decision process and drive business results.
  • Drive efficiency across various spending pools of P&L - promotional event optimization, marketing spending optimization, cost optimization, etc
  • Drive simplification via optimizing and automating financial analysis processes and tools across different areas
  • Performing competitive benchmarking and analysis to drive cost and cash harmonies.
  • Deliver accurate Financial Forecast collecting and analysing data from different sources.
  • Lead stewardship efforts in every aspect of your role and act as custodian to hold high levels of compliance

Job Qualifications
  • MBA/CA with strong academic records
  • Strong English verbal and writing skills; Proficient in Bengali
  • Work Experience of 10-15 years of which 2-5 years background in South Asia markets (Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka) preferred
  • Candidates having experience across tax, financial planning and corporate accounting will be preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, leadership skills and a strong passion for finance
  • Able to make complex decisions using all available data, but also confident enough to use your gut feeling and instincts
  • Work effectively with people from different backgrounds by exemplifying creativity, innovation and initiative
