Job Description : 
The Quality Section In-charge for the Enamelling Section will be responsible for ensuring
consistent product quality, process control, and adherence to customer and regulatory
requirements for copper and aluminium enamelled wires, strips, and CTC. This role
demands strong technical expertise in Enamelling processes, analytical problem-solving,
and team leadership to drive quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance &  Control:
 Oversee quality control activities in the Enamelling section for copper and aluminium
wires, strips, and CTC.
 Ensure compliance with customer specifications, national/international standards
(IEC, IS, NEMA, ASTM, etc.), and internal quality norms.
 Monitor and verify raw material, in-process, and finished goods quality.
 Conduct coating thickness, adhesion, flexibility, pinhole, breakdown voltage, and
other enamel quality tests as per standards.
 Maintain records of quality inspections, test results, and certifications.
Process Control & Improvement:
 Implement and monitor SPC (Statistical Process Control), MSA, and corrective action
measures in the Enamelling process.
 Work closely with the Production team to maintain process parameters like
temperature, speed, solvent control, and curing.
 Identify and address process deviations to minimize defects such as cracks,
pinholes, bubbles, or uneven coatings.
 Drive Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives for process improvements.
Customer &  Compliance:
 Handle customer complaints, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and CAPA (Corrective &
Preventive Actions).
 Conduct supplier and internal audits for quality compliance.
 Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other relevant
certifications.

 Liaise with customers for product approvals, quality trials, and audits.
Team Leadership &  Training:
 Lead and manage the quality team in the Enamelling section.
 Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to QC engineers and inspectors.
 Develop SOPs, work instructions, and inspection checklists.

Key Skills & Competencies:
 Strong technical knowledge of Enamelling process for copper & aluminium
wires/strips/CTC.
 Expertise in enamel testing methods (pinhole, cut-through, dielectric breakdown,
abrasion resistance, heat shock, etc.).
 Familiar with international quality standards (IEC 60317, IS 13730, NEMA MW
standards, etc.).
 Hands-on experience in quality management systems, audits, and customer
complaint handling.
 Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Navision ERP systems, and statistical quality
tools.
 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
 Leadership ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
