Qualified Chartered Accountant, 1 to 5 years in Chennai

Job Description

• Assist senior staff with a variety of accounting tasks, including:
• Bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
• Bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable management
• Fixed asset accounting and depreciation calculations
• Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide updates.
• Conduct research on accounting and tax regulations, staying current with industry developments.
• Assist with audit procedures under the supervision of qualified professionals (where applicable).
• Utilize accounting software proficiently (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally).
• Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Meet deadlines consistently and efficiently.

• Completion of CA Intermediate level (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Articleship or similar
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and auditing procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
