Manager - Legal, 10 to 12 years in Gurugram

Job Description

• Draft, review and vet of Term Sheet, JV arrangements or any contractual relationships with land owners
• Review and vet title documents (including tracing of antecedent title), revenue records, and other similar documents
• Initiate / defend and pursue legal proceedings including briefing external Legal Counsels, prepare Case for Opinions, settling Plaints, Written Statements, Writ Petitions etc.
• Independently strategize, draft and settle contractual notices and claim documentation
• Prepare key issues list summarizing gist of due diligence findings
• Interact with external law firms/advisors in various jurisdictions
• Draft and vet various agreements such as Sale Agreements, construction related agreement, lease agreements, supply & services, Logistics & other Commercial Contracts
• Interact with other functions / departments for all matters that may give rise to legal team s role
• Carry out exhaustive research on Case Laws and latest amendments to relevant laws
• From time to time, hold interactive sessions with other departments
