Job description

Financial (Direct Ownership)

To control Overseas Agents accounts receivable and accounts payable within the stipulated credit terms

To approve charges billed by the Agent and ensure that the invoices carry required supporting back ups

To manage cash flow of Foreign Currency in an efficient manner

To ensure correct and day-to-day accounting of all the financial transactions in EEFC account

To closely monitor the fluctuations in exchange rate and alert the higher management

Maintaining a record of bank s funds on deposit in foreign banks.

Monitoring Outstanding purchase and sales contracts

Quoting current conversion rates for branch staff and customers

Be up to date with all the latest financial developments, not only with the country s economy but also with other countries

Operational (Direct Ownership)

To ensure correct and timely upload of Agent Payable Invoices in SUN

To ensure all statutory compliances applicable

To prepare MIS as per requirements of the Management

To scrutinize ledgers and monitor all the reconciliations on a monthly basis

Managing trading functions in order to meet corporate goals financially.

Customer (Direct Ownership)

To resolve agents queries on receivable invoices

To liaise with bank related to EEFC transaction

To reconcile intercompany transactions with overseas branches

Assisting clients with foreign exchange transactions

People (Direct Ownership)

Recruit, develop and retain the team

Ensure focused cascading of organizational KPIs into functional objectives and finally into individual KPIs and review performance

against the same based on a set calendar

Ensure timely goal setting, evaluation and training for the team


QUALIFICATION

Graduate

EXPERIENCE

5 - 7 years of work experience in accounts and auditing in service industry preferable relocations/ logistics/ shipping industry

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

Good knowledge of taxes and laws related to finance
