Job description

We are a leading Veterinary Pharmaceutical company based in Thane.
We are currently hiring for Assistant Manager Costing.
The detailed JD is as under:
Highlights
Product costing, Variance analysis
Plant controller
SAP FICO exposure
Inventory valuation
Cost Audit
Experience in Pharmaceutical/Chemical industry in costing
Costing & Accounting
Product Costing accuracy improvement perform ML run program in SAP which calculates the cost, implement standard costing.
Monthly closing process schedule and coordinate with outside departments and within the department to meet the 3-day close. This includes planning and leading monthly and quarterly inventory, preparing journal entries, posting, balancing and reconciling & reviewing relevant ledgers.
Third party manufacturing & Plant control implementation & review
Perform Overhead allocation process for product costing.
Performs regular cycle counts to correct inventory misstatements.
Actively participate in the annual budgeting process by providing updated cost information across different product lines.
Maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting system.
Business Partnering
Provide accurate and timely COGS for various mangement reports.
Analyze complex manufacturing processes in coordination with Plant managers to improve decision making.
Analyse plant OPEX, implement required controls, suggest & implement cost reduction initiatives.
Assist R&D team in calculating cost of new product and payback calculations.
Compliance
Prepare Cost Audit data, co-ordinate with Cost auditor and resolve queries.
Ensure Inventory valuation as per IND AS 2 requirement.
Supporting statutory & internal audits with queries related to inventories & COGS
Co-ordination of physical stock verifications at plant during financial year end
Requirement as per the SOX controls are fulfilled on monthly/quarterly basis.
Prepare data for Tax Audit related to Inventory & COGS.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Cost Accountant (CMA)
Relevant cost accountant\\\'s experiences - 6-9 years experience.
SAP FICO experience is must, experience in implementation will be added advantage.
Pharmaceutical/Chemical Industry experience from API segment preferred. Plant experience will be added advantage.
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in English language & good communication skill is must.
Proficiency in advanced Excel formulas, power BI
