Job Description
- Lawyer – Having Drafting, vetting and finalising Legal documents and contracts. Candidates with NCLT, IBC experience will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of Companies Act, IBC 2016 and other applicable laws.
Skills:
- Communications, Drafting and Vetting of non-litigation (rarely litigation) related documents. - This role involves managing a contract from start to finish, i.e., from receiving and understanding the request received from business partners, creating the draft agreement using appropriate templates, co-ordinating with the business partners for their comments and with vendors for redlines, analyzing redlines and developing options for negotiation and redrafting, supporting the negotiation process and getting the contract executed and uploaded on to the contract management system. This is a client facing role Communication skills is a must.
- Experience of appearing before Tribunals for mergers, acquisition, oppression, mis-management. Experience in NCLT and IBC cases preferred.
- Advising and assisting all divisions and departments on various negotiations (pan India towards various business initiatives/business transactions etc. in order to resolve contentious/disputed matters.
- Meeting concerned personnel from the Business divisions, extending necessary support and attending to their drafting, vetting and reviewing of various legal documents.
- The candidate should be a good communicator. - Requirements: LLB/LLM with 7-10 years of total experience (mix experience of law firms and leading manufacturing companies preferred)

- Strong knowledge of banking, finance, insolvency and bankruptcy laws and general corporate laws.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with strong negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial sense and business acumen – ability to critically analyse and consider issues including legal/ commercial risk involved.
- Ability to independently handle assigned work
- Able to work under constrained timelines.
