Legal Executive, 1 to 6 years in Mumbai

Job Description

• Drafting, scrutinizing of transactional documents with respect to real estate financing, including debentures agreements including but not limited to loan agreements, Mortgage Deed, Deed of Hypothecation, Guarantee Documents Corporate and Personal Guarantee, Deed of Assignment, and other ancillary legal documents.
• Reviewing Title Investigation & Search Reports in respect of the property forming part of the security.
• Must have good understanding of Company Laws, Financing Laws, and Real Estate Laws.
• Must have good understanding of IBC (Insolvency Bankruptcy Code).
• Prepare/Scrutinize related compliance documents.
• Coordinating with clients, stakeholders and Banks/ Financial Institutions as relevant.
• Assisting with vetting of legal documents as required by business.
• Advising and providing legal opinion on corporate matters and external commercial borrowings documentation.
• Preparing legal opinion on various matters;
• Drafting to issue/responding to notices.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Legal Advisory in Real Estate Finance.
• Knowledge of IBC (Insolvency Bankruptcy Code)
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to proactively identify and provision for risk mitigation through legal process/documentation.
• Exposure to Capital raising (Debt / Equity), Real Estate Finance background is preferred.
• Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines ensuring high quality output.
