Position: Legal Counsel- Special Law
Qualification: LLB
Experience: 2 to 8 years

Job description
  • The Legal Counsel will be avital member of our legal department, reporting directly to the Lead Lawyer-Corporate
  • This role requires a deep understanding of corporate law, realestate law, employment law, procurement law, strong analytical skills,exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to provide timely and soundlegal advice to various departments within the organization
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to theorganization on corporate matters, corporate governance, compliance, contractnegotiation, risk management, intellectual property, and employment law.
  • Offer legal support in real estatetransactions, due diligence, real estate advise on MAs, including propertyacquisitions, leases, land use and zoning issues, and property developmentprojects.
  • Provide legal advise on a range of employmentlaw topics, including employee contracts, workplace policies, discriminationand harassment issues, employee benefits, and labor relations.
  • Advise on procurement law matters, includingdrafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts, vendor agreements, andprocurement policies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate variousagreements, contracts, and legal documents related to corporate, real estate,employment, and procurement matters to ensure legality and alignment withcompany objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams toidentify legal risks in corporate, real estate, employment, and procurementtransactions and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Assist in the development and implementation ofcorporate policies, procedures, real estate strategies, employment practices,and procurement guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsels asneeded and ensure effective handling of outsourced legal matters.
  • Support the legal team in managing litigation,dispute resolution processes, real estate-related disputes, employment-relatedclaims, and procurement-related disputes.
  • A Law degree from a reputed law college in Indiaor from a reputed international college with at least 5 years PQE.
  • Worked with a law firm or multinationalcompany, with internationally staffed teams and international contractualpartners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills toassess complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both writtenand verbal, to effectively interact with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiatingvarious commercial agreements, including real estate contracts, employmentagreements, and procurement contracts.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multipletasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism,with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in legal research and relevantsoftware tools.
