Role : Legal Counsel
Location : Mumbai
Experience : 5 to 6 Years
Qualification : LLB
Job Description :
• Advisory: Provide support and strategic advice on a wide range of contractual and commercial issues related to software licensing, software development, software distribution and reselling, intellectual property protections and technology commercialization.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology-related contracts, including software licensing agreements, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, software distribution and reseller agreements, hosting agreements, and engineering software agreements ensuring alignment with industry best practices and legal standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations in Australia and the USA, ensuring the company\'s operations adhere to all legal requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and management, to provide proactive contractual support and facilitate smooth project execution.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with technology projects, implementing strategies to protect the company’s interests and reputation.
• Compliance and Governance: Advise on compliance with policies and standards, including delegations of authority.
