The ideal candidate will provide legal advice, handle litigation matters, and draft or review legal documents to safeguard the company’s interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and advice on a wide range of business matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Represent the company in courts, tribunals, and before other legal authorities.
- Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel on ongoing litigation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory frameworks (Company Law, Contract Act, Labour Laws, etc.).
- Handle legal documentation related to corporate governance, board resolutions, and regulatory filings.
- Conduct legal research and keep management updated on changes in laws and regulations.
- Assist in risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and internal audits from a legal perspective.
