Job description
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop Business in West Region, : Tata, Bajaj, Mahindra, John Deere, Cummins
  • Identify and screen customers/ Products and Competition : Tata and Bajaj
  • Interact closely with Engineering and Application Support team on understand new programs and technologies
  • Propose value proposition to customers and manage product positioning
  • Generate RFQ, Quotations and Negotiations.
  • Arrange sample trials and product validation by customers
  • Meeting customer requirements/ managing programs
  • Secure and stabilize business
  • Build strong relationship at all levels with customer.
  • Supervise order execution and meeting of customer delivery expectations
  • Supervise payments
  • Supervise Warehouse management

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Engineer (Mech), MBA Marketing/ Business preferred.
  • Worked with OEM-Tier 1 background with exposure and experience in introducing new products and securing new customers
  • Approx. 15 years experience in the sales of Mechanical parts/components in West Zone OEM’s specifically Bajaj and Tata Motors
  • Demonstrable business acumen and ability to understand customer needs
  • Comfortable in generating business from Scratch
  • Exposure to Matrix reporting.
  • High drive and enthusiasm to make a difference
  • Exposure to multicultural environment
  • Team Player and Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience of handling 150 -200 Cr business with multiple customers.
  • Sound technical aptitude and skills
  • Problem Solving and Management Skills
  • MS Office essential / SAP (preferred)
