Junior Accountant, 3 to 4 years in Mumbai

Job Description

• Financial Data Entry and Management:
• Input and maintain financial records, ledgers, and statements.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Process invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Generate financial analyses and summaries for management review.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Support the budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Monitor variances and report significant issues to management.
• Participate in financial planning discussions.
• Administrative Support:
• Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• Proven experience as a Junior Accountant or relevant role (3-4 years preferred).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• This is a full-time position based in Pune.
• Candidates with experience in the transportation or logistics industry will be preferred.
