Position: General Manager / Assistant General Manager LEGAL
Reporting To: President (Shrem InvIT)
Location: Mumbai HO (Andheri East)
Experience: 10 15 years
Salary: As per industry standard
Position Overview
Provide legal guidance and support for infrastructure investments and InvIT Operations. 
Ensure compliance, manage risks, and safeguard the interest of stakeholders. 
Collaborate with teams to execute transactions and resolve legal issues efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Legal Advisory:
Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, concession agreements, and transactions to identify potential risks and ensure legal compliance.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements, including investment agreements, lease agreements, share purchase, Financing documents, service contracts ensure comply with applicable laws.
Protect the interests of Investment Manager/Project Manager and minimize legal risks.
Transaction Support:
Conduct due diligence reviews and assess legal implications to facilitate informed decision making.
Assisting in structuring and executing investment transactions.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and policies impacting infrastructure investments and InvIT operations.
Develop and implement compliance strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigate legal risks.
Dispute Resolution:
Manage legal disputes and conflicts as may be raised related to SPV’s , InvIT IM & PM Aarbitration, including negotiation, mediation, and litigation support.
Documentation:
Assist in maintaining corporate governance standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review legal documentation and compliance.

Team Collaboration
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance and operations to address legal aspects of infrastructure projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a reputable institution; additional qualification LLM is preferred.
  • Experience of working infrastructure sector, InvIT or familiar entities.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal principles, regulations, and best practices in infrastructure investment and trust operations.
  • Litigation & Arbitration experience.
