General Manager - Finance & Accounts, 12 to 15 years in Mumbai

Job Description

• Reporting to the CFO, this profile will be responsible for managing entire gamut Finance and Accounts Department at Group Corporate Office.
• Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with IFRS, IGAAP standards and IND-AS regulatory requirements for group entities.
• Consistently analyzing of financial accounting data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitor progress, changes and keep senior leadership abreast of the financial status.
• Driving Budgeting process across the group and presenting the same to the management within set deadlines by closely interacting cross-functional teams/heads.
• Implementation/Updating of product costings in the ERP System by devising appropriate methodology from time to time year on year.
• Integration of costing books, financial books and variance analysis on monthly basis.
• Valuation of stocks and submission of stock statement to every month.
• Fixed Assets Management and updating FA registers.
• Independently Liaisoning with the Statutory and Internal Auditors and be a focal point in resolving their queries and issues to ensure completion of audited accounts within timelines.
• Finalizing the quarterly / Half Yearly and annual books of accounts along with the preparation of balance sheet and profit and loss statement for all group entities.
• Compliance with all statutory matters, including Income Tax, GST Transfer pricing and Foreign Remittances.
• Dealing with banks and financial institutions for operational needs besides providing all necessary support with the preparation of documents pertaining to all Short Term and Long Term credit facilities (working capital and fund raising).
• Maintain internal controls and safeguards for revenue, costs, budgetary control and actual expenditures.
• Knowledge of EDPMS & IDPMS for exports and imports.
• SAP Working Knowledge is must (work experience on SAP B1 will have added advantage)
• Driving the implementation and process re-engineering in SAP to bring about improvement in accounting/reporting will be one of the core responsibility.

• Strong Accounting standards knowledge
• Overall Experience of 12-15 Years with min. 7 yrs in a Managerial Role
• Should have excellent analytical skills and exposure to advanced excel.
• Well Organized with good verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
