Qualification: CS,LLB

Job description
Key Responsibilities Areas:-

  • Having experience in handling cases relating to exchange arbitration matters, civil law and having experience in handling investor grievances
  • Accuracy in filing of all statutory returns and forms etc. with Registrar of Companies.
  • Efficiently handle all secretarial matters.
  • Ensures timeliness in drafting and filing of different documents and forms with various regulatory authorities.
  • Maintaining discipline.
  • Filling of periodical statuary returns.
  • Coordination with all departments of the organization regarding execution of formalities mentioned in Companies Act.
  • Managing complete documentation of all the Company related issues.
  • Having experience in preparing reply of all SEBI, NSE, BSE Investigation in scripts and enquiry with proper co-ordination and help of concerned Departments.

Job responsibilities
  • Responsible for heading, managing and supervising Legal and Secretarial Department of the
  • Company.
  • Responsible for Corporate and Strategic Planning.
  • Providing crucial, specific and updated data to the Top Management and assist them in taking managerial decisions.
  • Responsible for entire legal and secretarial affairs of the group companies.
  • Monitoring secretarial and legal compliances of the group companies.
  • Simplifying the procedure and formalities required to strengthen the SMC Group.
  • Appearing before the Arbitral Tribunal, Consumer Forum, Women Commission, ESIs, Labour
  • Court, Civil and Criminal Court and other judicial and quashi judicial authorities.
  • Supervising all the civil suits, criminal matters, various legal matters of the group.
  • Responsible for drafting of critical and crucial agreements, petitions, applications, CLB petitions, etc filed at various judicial and quashi judicial authorities.
  • To develop a vibrant compliance mechanism to avoid any future difficulties with respect to all concerned laws of the land.
  • Liaison with the NSE/BSE/NCDEX/MCX/SEBI and other regulators with respect to investor grievances, broking matters and other operational matters on behalf of the Group.
  • Deals with IRDA/ASE/CSE/DSE/LSE/GSE/NSDL/CDSL and other authoritys w.r.t. legal and secretarial compliances as and when required.
  • Performing the role of mediator between the shareholders and the management and resolving the queries/grievances of the stakeholders as and when raised.
  • Supervising and directing the team members for handling the issues raised before the Police Station, Crime Branch, Economic Offence wing, Women Commission, CBI and other authorities relating to the day to day operational matters of the Company.
  • Drafting and Vetting of Commercial Agreements, Notices, Reports, and Letters etc.
