Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the controllership function of the entities and oversee financial reporting.
- Lead the statutory and internal audit processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly financial closures and prepare schedules for the central controllership team.
- Oversee compliance with direct and indirect tax matters, including CSR-related compliance for the Trust.
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure the timely processing of customer and vendor invoices.
- Handle finance, accounts, and compliance matters for Trust entities (experience in this area is a plus).
- Coordinate with consultants in India and African branches/entities to ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in the transition to SAP S/4 HANA in collaboration with the central controllership team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance.
- Familiarity with managing financial operations for Trusts is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4 HANA, is desirable.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
