Job Description:
Experienced Export Sales Manager with a deep understanding of the agricultural commodities industry to join our team. He will play a pivotal role in expanding our international presence, cultivating new markets, and building strong relationships with customers and partners worldwide. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record in export sales and a comprehensive knowledge of the agricultural commodities trade. (Food grains, pulse, spices, sugar, etc)

Education & Work Experience:
§ MBA/PGD International Business or Sales & Marketing
§ Min 5 years’ experience in International Sales of Agricultural commodities
§ In-depth knowledge of the agricultural commodities market and global trade dynamics
§ Familiarity with international trade regulations and documentation
§ Minimum Experience Of 3 Years in Participation at Exhibitions
§ Knowledge Of Establishing Sales Goals, Sales Generation, and Monitoring the Volume of Overseas Sales

§ Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
§ Ability to multi-task and function under pressure

§ Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and trends
§ Should be flexible and have proactive approach to workload
§ Knowledge of foreign language will be an advantage

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy:
§ Identify new markets and customers for existing portfolio of Agri-commodities like rice, sugar, spices, pulses, cereals, and others.
§ Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue
§ Understand the requirement of Customer and translate the same into proposals
§ Submission of Proposal and its follow up
§ Understanding of basic Commercial terms

§ Establish correspondence with probable customers and agents to get potential business
§ Perceive customer needs, negotiate and get the business
§ Effective execution of country specific, commodity specific plan

2. Market Research & Expansion:
§ Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the agricultural commodities market
§ Identify and explore new markets for agricultural commodities, including but not limited to grains, pulses, spices, sugar, and oilseeds
§ Identify new business avenues during the visits for growth
§ Tracking of Information on competition

3. Product Updates:
§ Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and quality standards for agricultural commodities to make informed sales decisions
§ Touch base regularly with supply chain team for price and product updates

4. Order Execution:
§ Preparation of request for quotation, logic notes, export data and cost sheet for the customers
§ Integrate with vendors for cost – effective packaging material
§ Partner with logistics vendors for cost-effective transportation of shipments
§ Coordinate closely with supply chain team for end-to-end customer order execution
§ Collaborate with our quality control team to ensure that products meet international quality standards and customer specifications
§ Coordinate with quality lab for compositional analysis of customer sample
§ Supervise dispatch and receipt of customer samples
§ Work closely with logistics and shipping teams to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any shipping-related issues
§ Ensure compliance with all export regulations and documentation requirements for international shipments
§ Assist in root cause analysis for every product complaint to attain zero product recall

5. Client Servicing:
§ Regular follow-up and customer feedback before and after order fulfillment.
§ Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and agents to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships
§ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements

6. Branding and Promotional Activities:
§ Implement initiative towards building Al-Gyas’s strong brand recall value among
customers.
§ Organize customers visit and participation of Al-Gyas in national and international events.
§ Develop internal and external communication for Al-Gyas’s brand building.

7. Building Business Network:
§ Associate with organization such as APEDA, Spice Board of India, world spice congress, Rice millers of India and several Indian and overseas associations for in- depth understanding of industry and increasing visibility
