Job description
Responsibilities:
1) Accounting:
a) Timely and accurate day to day transaction recoding in accounting system. Experience with Microsoft D365 system is preferred
b) To ensure timely compliance with TDS, GST, Advance tax, Income Tax, Profession tax, and other statutory dues and related fillings within statutory timelines (2 days before due date)
c) To maintain accurate weekly Cash & Bank reconciliations and fixed assets register
2) Payment processing:
a) To maintain and monitor Vendor KYC, agreements tracker, invoices tracker and follow vendor creation workflow based process
b) To follow payments process and ensure timely and accurate payment of all the transactions executed by Multiples including foreign remittances. To ensure TAT of 7 days for vendor payments
3) Book Closure:
a) To ensure timely and accurate monthly book closure within 5 days from month end
b) To maintain accurate computation of accrual of income, provision for expenses, prepaid expenses, depreciation, income tax provision, deferred tax, MTM & Fx adjustments, and schedules of PL, BS and FS disclosure items
4) Reporting:
a) To prepare periodic MIS, quarterly interim financial statements, and year-end financial statements, Tax Audit 3CD report, and other reporting done by the team
b) Basic knowledge of IGAAP, IFRS and IndAS is required
c) To provide data to various audit teams (statutory audit, internal audit, GST audit, Tax audit, auditor appointed by investor / external parties and regulators and ensure proper coordination and timely audit completion
5) Other areas:
a) To effectively execute any project based work from time to time in time bound manner and improving current processes by following work flow based
organised approach Skills:
a) Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance with experience of upto 3 years post qualification
b) Effective communication across various teams and functions in the organisation is must
c) Experience in the funds, asset management or private equity industries highly regarded
d) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
e) Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with fast and exact data processing skills
f) Highly professional/institutional and self-motivated candidate, able to effectively work as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and able to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines
g) Quick learner with the ability to quickly turnaround ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
h) Must operate with the highest level of integrity and professional conduct
