Compliance Manager, 10 to 15 years in Thane

Job Description

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including BOCW Act, EPF (Employee Provident Fund), ESI (Employees State Insurance), Factory Act, and other relevant legislations.
• PF & ESI Management: Oversee Provident Fund (PF) and ESI contributions, filings, audits, and inspections. Ensure timely registration and compliance for workers under relevant schemes.
• Licensing & Approvals: Obtain and renew necessary statutory licenses, approvals, and permits for the data center project, ensuring seamless operations.
• BOCW Compliance: Ensure timely BOCW registration of workers, welfare fund contributions, and compliance with state-wise BOCW regulations.
• Inspection & Audits: Handle government labor inspections, audits, and compliance checks. Address queries and implement corrective actions.
• Liaison with Authorities: Build strong relationships with government agencies, labor commissioners, and legal advisors to facilitate smooth compliance.
• Contractor Compliance: Ensure that all subcontractors and vendors comply with labor laws and project-specific statutory requirements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate compliance records, generate monthly/quarterly reports, and provide updates to management.
• Legal Risk Mitigation: Identify potential compliance risks, develop strategies to mitigate them, and ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Training & Awareness: Conduct compliance training for HR, site managers, and contractors on statutory requirements and best practices.
