Position: Company Secretary - SEBI Compliance
Qualification: CS

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding SEBI compliance matters, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients\' existing compliance frameworks and identify areas for improvement to align with SEBI regulations.
  • Develop customized compliance strategies and action plans tailored to each client\'s specific needs and industry requirements.
  • Assist clients in preparing and filing various regulatory disclosures, reports, and submissions required by SEBI.
  • Stay abreast of updates and changes in SEBI regulations and communicate relevant developments to clients in a timely manner.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits of clients\' compliance activities to ensure ongoing adherence to SEBI requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide comprehensive advisory services to clients on SEBI-related issues, including corporate governance, insider trading, and disclosures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, earning their trust and confidence as a reliable advisor on SEBI compliance matters.

Qualifications:
  • Qualified Company Secretary with membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a Company Secretary role, preferably within SEBI compliances.
  • Thorough understanding of SEBI regulations, including Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements, Insider Trading Regulations, Takeover Regulations, and Corporate Governance Guidelines.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess clients\' compliance needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing SEBI compliance for multiple clients simultaneously and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English is must.
