Job description
Serve as the primary point of contact for all corporate secretarial matters, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Manage and maintain company records, registers, and statutory filings in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Coordinate and facilitate board and committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and resolutions, and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Provide guidance and advice to the board of directors and senior management on corporate governance best practices, regulatory changes, and compliance matters.
Liaise with external regulatory authorities, auditors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders on corporate secretarial and compliance issues.
Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, and industry standards affecting the company\'s operations, and implement necessary updates to policies, procedures, and practices.
Support corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital raisings, by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating necessary approvals.
Assist in the preparation and filing of annual reports, financial statements, and other regulatory disclosures in collaboration with finance and legal teams.
Conduct regular compliance reviews and assessments to identify areas of risk and opportunities for improvement, and develop and implement corrective actions as needed.
Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on corporate governance, compliance, and ethics matters to promote a culture of integrity and accountability.

Bachelor\'s degree in law, business administration, or related field.
Qualified Company Secretary (ACS/ACIS) with 6+ years of experience in corporate secretarial and compliance roles within the real estate industry.
Strong knowledge of company law, corporate governance principles, and regulatory requirements applicable to real estate firms.
Experience in managing board and committee meetings, preparing board papers, and drafting meeting minutes and resolutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives, board members, and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in regulatory filings and compliance documentation.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and corporate secretarial software.
Professional certifications or memberships related to corporate governance and compliance (e.g., ICSA, CISI) preferred but not required.
