Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of regulatory returns, reports, and disclosures as required by regulatory authorities.
- Assist in the organization and coordination of board and shareholder meetings, including the preparation of agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions.
- Assist in the development and review of corporate governance policies, charters, and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documents in com, 1 to 2 pliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in the drafting and filing of various corporate documents, such as annual returns, board resolutions, and statutory forms with regulatory authorities.
- Conduct research on legal and regulatory matters relevant to the NBFC sector, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory updates, and emerging trends in corporate governance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification or pursuing CS course from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and regulatory requirements applicable to NBFCs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
