Role : Chartered Accountant - Indirect Tax Litigation
Location : Navi Mumbai
Qualification : CA
Experience : 6 to 7 years
Job Description :
- Assist in drafting replies to GST, Customs, and Service Tax notices, SCNs, and appeal documents.
- Conduct legal research on indirect tax matters, including analysis of case laws, circulars, and notifications.
- Coordinate with clients and counsel for preparation and filing of appeals before adjudicating authorities, Appellate Authorities, Tribunals (CESTAT), and High Courts.
- Attend personal hearings along with seniors or counsels.
- Maintain and update litigation trackers and ensure timely compliance with filing requirements.
- Support senior consultants and partners in developing litigation strategies for client matters.
- Provide updates to clients on changes in the law or new judicial precedents relevant to ongoing disputes.
