Chartered Accountant, 5 to 10 years in Pune

Job Description

• Develop and implement financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
• Analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following accounting standards (INDAS/IFRS/USGAAP) applicable.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.

• Manage and oversee the consolidation process for financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in consolidation activities.

• Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Manage and optimize tax strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Work closely with external tax advisors to minimize tax liabilities and maximize incentives.

• Forecast and manage cash flows to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
• Liaise with banking partners, managing long-term and short-term financing arrangements.

• Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, consolidation, and taxation.
• Exposure to accounting standards such as INDAS, IFRS, and USGAAP.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Proficient in managing banking operations and financing arrangements.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using SAP and MS Excel.
