Role & responsibilities
Internal Audit & Financial Compliance:
- Conduct internal audits of the complete books of accounts for the unit.
- Perform month-end closings and ledger scrutiny of financial records.
- Evaluate TDS payments and ensure compliance with TDS return filings.
- Review GST return filings and ensure timely compliance.
- Conduct EXIM audits, IDPMS, EDPMS, and other bank compliance report checks.
- Ensure tax audit return filings and ITR submissions for the company.
- Prepare and file award forms as required.
Reconciliations & Financial Analysis:
- Perform stock reconciliation and valuation.
- Review reconciliation of account statements for customers and vendors.
- Manage inter-unit finance and stock transfer reconciliations.
- Analyze and review ageing reports for customers and vendors.
Banking & Financial Reporting:
- Work on bank limit renewal processes and compliance.
- Handle ECR rating renewal workings.
- Draft balance sheets and coordinate statutory audits.
- Prepare various MIS reports for management, HODs, and bankers.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Support other finance-related tasks as required.
