Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  3. Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders to gather financial data and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  4. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support effective financial management and decision-making.
  5. Conduct regular audits to assess internal controls, identify areas for improvement, and mitigate financial risks.
  6. Prepare and file tax returns, including GST, income tax, and other statutory obligations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Collaborate with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and resolve any issues or inquiries.
  8. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and business expansion initiatives.
  9. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation laws, and industry trends to ensure adherence to best practices and optimize financial performance.
  10. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development and enhance team effectiveness.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), taxation laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
  4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends or anomalies.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
