Job description
Role & responsibilities

  1. Financial Planning: Prepare and develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the medical college and hospital, taking into account their specific needs and objectives.
  2. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and investments, to provide insights and recommendations to management for improving financial performance and cost-effectiveness.
  3. Cost Management: Monitor and control costs throughout the organization, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and identifying areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
  4. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal stakeholders, senior management, and external regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  5. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain strong internal control systems to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
  6. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and liaise with auditors during external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and addressing any findings or recommendations. Stay updated with healthcare industry regulations and ensure adherence to relevant laws and standards.
  7. Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee the revenue cycle process, including billing, coding, and collections, to optimize revenue capture, minimize billing errors, and ensure timely reimbursement.
  8. Financial Systems and Technology: Evaluate, implement, and maintain financial systems and technology solutions that support efficient financial operations and reporting.
  9. Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management and department heads to develop financial strategies aligned with the medical college and hospital\'s mission and long-term goals.

Preferred candidate profile

Essentials:
- Must have strong knowledge of auditing & accounting standards, Trust, Society,
- Should have handled statutory audit assignments medical Collge & Hospital earlier,
- Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments & manage ambiguity,
- Strong verbal & communication skills,
- Clarity of thoughts and assertive,
- Good presentation skills and ability to respond promptly,
- Should be a team player with a proactive & result oriented approach
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Handling GST issues
- Handling GST Advisory and Consultation Related Works
- Handling GST Departmental Audit
- Doing monthly compliance of Clients.
- Corporate Laws/ PF/ ESIC/
