Job description
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes and procedures, implementing improvements as needed to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including property management and leasing departments, to provide financial support and guidance.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations affecting commercial real estate accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Assist in special projects and ad hoc analysis as required by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CA designation is mandatory.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations, particularly as they apply to commercial real estate.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
