Job description
I. Finalization
Responsible for the finalization of standalone accounts for every quarter ending and year ending.
1. Preparation Financials of subsidiaries for every quarter and accounts.
2. Preparation of consolidation and financials for every quarter.
3. Coordination with statutory audition of MPL and its subsidiaries for quarter and financials and to review the audit reports before auditors sign.
4. Preparation of note to accounts for preparation of annual report.
II. Taxation Matters
Direct Tax Income Tax
1. Filing Income Tax returns of MPL and its subsidiaries and other Group Companies.
2. To attend assessments of MPL and subsidiaries and group companies time to time and to submit the required information in consultation with HOD.
3. To coordinate/visit I.T Department frequently for submission of Information and to give clarification as and when required.
4. To submit the replies for all notice received from I.T department for MPL /subsidiaries /Group companies in coordination with Auditors.
5. To follow up on pending appeals comes with CIT/ITHT/High Court of MPL(submission) Group companies with concerned departments/Auditors.
6. To ensure timely payment of TDS of MPL/subsidiaries/Group companies.
7. Advance Tax planning to avoid future complications,
8. To ensure passing necessary entries in Books of Accounts for TDS Recoveries/Payments/Refunds etc.
III. GST
1. To ensure filing of monthly GST returns
2. To ensure filing Annual GST returns
3. To recover the GST input/output Accounts per monthly GST returns to ensure packing of hearsay entries in the books of accounts.
IV. ODI Issues
1. To submit the APRs for the investments made in PTMI & PTMSP by MPL/Subsidiaries in consultation with Auditions.
2. To maintain all proper files of finalization/Income Tax/GST of MPL/Subsidiaries
