Assistant Manager - Taxation, 1 to 2 years in Mumbai

Job Description

• Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years of work experience
• Experience in handling taxation compliances (GST and Income Tax) or keenness to work in taxation profile
• Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana preferred
• Conversancy with MS Excel preferred
• Good Communication skills

• The person will work closely with Manager (Tax) for ensuring effective tax compliances of the group companies (2 companies)
• Collation of data from the SAP for purpose of tax filings
• Passing accounting entries pertaining to taxes
• Routine query on tax matters from internal stakeholders/ vendors/ customers
• Coordination with internal stakeholders and tax consultants to ensure timely compliance
• Assistance for data collation for assessments, audits and appeals
• Reconciliations between tax filings and financial statements
• Issue of Form 16A to vendors and resolving their queries
• Follow ups/ monitoring of various pending tasks
• Liaison with tax authorities for preliminary queries
• Assistance in effective management of the tax function
