Job Description : 
1. Production Planning &Execution
 Plan, organize, and control enamelling production activities in line with overall
production schedules.
 Monitor daily production vs. targets, ensuring optimum machine utilization and
minimum downtime.
 Coordinate with PPC, maintenance, and stores to ensure smooth flow of raw
materials and consumables (enamels, resins, solvents, etc.).
 Ensure adherence to production schedules for various wire sizes, strips, and
batches.
2. Process & Quality Control
 Ensure enamelling process parameters (temperature, viscosity, speed, curing,
coating thickness, etc.) are strictly followed.
 Monitor and minimize process rejections, reworks, and deviations.
 Ensure finished wires / strips meet customer specifications, IEC / IS standards, and
internal quality requirements.
 Coordinate with the Quality team for in-process checks, testing, and approvals.
3. People Management
 Supervise and guide shift engineers, supervisors, and operators.
 Plan manpower deployment for efficient utilization across shifts.
 Conduct training sessions for skill development, safety practices, and process
improvements.
 Motivate and ensure discipline, teamwork, and adherence to company policies.

4. Equipment & Maintenance Support
 Ensure machines, dies, enamelling furnaces, and ancillary equipment are maintained
in good working condition.
 Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
 Monitor machine performance and recommend upgrades/modifications.
5. Cost & Productivity Improvements
 Optimize resource consumption (enamel varnish, energy, labour hours, etc.).
 Identify and implement lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and productivity improvement
initiatives.
 Drive reduction in conversion cost per unit output.
6. Reporting & Compliance
 Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production reports and MIS for management review.
 Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and statutory regulations.
 Support ISO audits and customer inspections.
Key Skills & Competencies
 Strong technical knowledge of copper & aluminium enamelling processes (single,
double, and multi-coat).
 Understanding of wire/strip production lines, curing ovens, varnish chemistry, and
handling.
 Good leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
 Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF preferred).
 Analytical and problem-solving approach with a focus on results.
 Proficiency in ERP/MIS reporting and MS Office.
