Job description
  • Fortis Healthcare Ltd is looking for Assistant Manager - Financial Accounting to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
  • Assist the Finance Manager in managing the financial accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end closing processes
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work output and professional development
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by the accounting team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads, project managers, and budget owners, to facilitate accurate recording and reporting of financial data and variances
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis reports
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing financial insights, trend analysis, and recommendations to support strategic planning and resource allocation decisions
  • Conduct financial analysis and performance evaluation of business units, projects, and cost centers, identifying areas for cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, and financial reporting standards
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends, recommending process improvements and best practices to enhance financial controls and efficiency
  • Assist in special projects, ad-hoc financial analysis, and system implementations to support organizational initiatives and strategic objectives
