Job description
  • Candidate to be well versed in back-end operations in the financial sector (preferably deposit servicing), related processes and norms
  • Experience in customer servicing is must.
  • Must have team leading abilities with demonstrated capabilities in handling target-based roles/jobs.
  • Should be able and ready to work in shifts and extended timelines.Should have excellent data management/MIS skills
  • Should have excellent communication skills.
  • Deposit Account Management: Process and manage deposit account transactions, including openings, closures, modifications, and transfers.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of deposit accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Customer Support: Provide support to customers and internal stakeholders regarding deposit-related inquiries, issues, and requests.
  • Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements related to deposit operations and ensure all activities comply with relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with deposit operations, implementing appropriate controls and procedures as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain documentation of deposit transactions, reports, and audit trails for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve deposit operations processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, compliance, and technology, to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Training and Development: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to deposit operations, and participate in training and development activities as required.
