Accounts Manager, 5 to 10 years in Mumbai

Job Description

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Responsible for GL accounting and financial reporting, AR, AP, day to day banking, internal controls.
• Manage month-end closing, provisioning & publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Managing Finances, Accounts, Budgeting, MIS, Banking, Cash Flow Management,
• Working Capital Management, Inventory Control, and reporting monthly & annual accounts.
• Validate and authorize Book keeping, Preparation of Vouchers (Cash payment, Bank payments, Materials purchased/received or any other site related payments etc.)
• Analyzing the financial statements on a weekly, monthly basis and report any variances to the department heads.
• Ensure timely filing of returns such as TDS, GST, Service Tax and Income Tax as Per the
• Relevant Acts & Interfacing with Tax Auditors and Regulatory Authorities for assessments and remittances.
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year- end.
• Knowledge of RERA Compliances along with quarterly and yearly RERA Forms filing and preparation.
• Finalization of Accounts.
• Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information
• Periodic reporting to Management
• Report any abnormalities to the Management
