Job description
  • As an accounting manager, you will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. 
  • In addition, you will be establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff upto 5-10.
  • The accounting manager should have complete knowledge of accounts, Internal and External Audits.
  • Monitoring staff for their assigned works, and as well as weekly and monthly targets.
  • Responsible for timely delivering the assigned task from the team members, preparing all the financial and operational transactional reports and duly signed by authorized person/MD.
  • Achieves accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; 
  • Implementing billing, productivity, resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.
  • Take responsibility for accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, banking and documentation, fixed asset activity, etc.
  • Ensure processing of invoice, quotation, purchase & sales order, salaries, travel claims and other vendor payments.
  • Ensure proper training of all personnel working on financial, accounting, audit or fiscal matters.
  • Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts and defining accounting policies and procedures. To ensure systematic filing/ documentation of records.
  • Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and take steps to enhance, wherever necessary.
  • Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy and applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
  • Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
  • Oversee and monitor effective tax strategies and statutory and government compliance for the Proprietorship Firms; GST/TDS/Way Bills, etc.
