Legal Advisor, 10 to 12 years in Mumbai

Job Description

1. Provide expert legal advice and guidance on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate agreements, including but not limited to contracts, licenses, and partnership agreements.
3. Advise on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the company\'s operations.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess legal implications of business decisions and develop risk mitigation strategies.
6. Manage external legal counsel and other service providers as necessary.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
8. Handle corporate filings, registrations, and compliance requirements.
9. Provide training to employees on legal and compliance matters as needed.
10. Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations, as required.
