- Generally, the role of a Office Tax Audit Assistants may cover many aspects of various corporate, non corporate assessees, preparation of financials along with the required mandatory statements of form filling of returns. finance work, including Auditing, Direct and Indirect Taxation, FEMA and Company Secretarial Services which will involve preparing notes and presentations, liaising with clients, providing information and advice, preparing submissions and representing them before the authorities.
- The job will require assisting the partner in collecting, collating, organising, listing and making available knowledge of various types on all the practice areas like finance work, including Auditing , Direct and indirect Taxation ( compliance, assessments and appeals), companies Act, FEMA, accounting and auditing etc.
- The job will also include answer telephones, meet and greet clients and visitors, create and modify documents using Microsoft Office or Open Office. perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, scanning, faxing, mailing, and filing, maintain hard copy and soft filing system, coordinate and maintain record, control and report on the flow of activities and exceptions and generally to support seniors assigned work in various areas of practice.
Required Candidate profile
The incumbent must have following attributes-
1.Commerce Graduation with First Class and passed through out the career in 1st attempt
2. Excellent knowledge of the advanced aspects of business and industry, various laws like Income Tax Act, Companies Act, FEMA etc with a flair in browsing internet
3. Good command on written and spoken English and on computers including Microsoft/Open Office and internet and high speed on key board. Good/ impressive typing speed.
4. Ability to manage a team of people at our and client\'s offices, assume authority, responsibility and accountability, control and report on the flow of activities and exceptions, control expenses and earn fees with customer delight
Preferences:
The placement will be at Mumbai office and preference will be given to those born and brought up in Mumbai, respectively and having experience with a medium size CA Firm
