Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management and Reporting:
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with Indian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients.
  • SaaS Product Development Support:
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide financial expertise and insights.
  • Help design and validate financial workflows and processes within the SaaS product.
  • Test and provide feedback on the software to ensure it meets financial regulatory requirements and user needs.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored financial management services.
  • Assist clients in setting up effective financial controls and reporting systems.
  • Provide training and support to clients using the SaaS product.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company\'s and clients\' goals.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support decision-making processes.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and advise management and clients accordingly.
  • Innovation and Process Improvement:
  • Experiment with new financial tools and technologies to enhance efficiency.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in financial processes and implement solutions.
  • Adapt to changes and challenges with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master\'s degree or professional qualifications like CA/CPA/CFA are preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management roles within Indian companies.
  • Experience with technology-driven solutions or involvement in software development projects is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
