Job description
Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the company, including employee salary processing and payments to external vendors. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Maintenance:
  1. Prepare, examine, and analyse financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  2. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Accounts Payable
  1. Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.
  2. Manage end to end creator payouts
  3. Manage vendor payouts (Subscriptions, Servers, Other parties)
  4. Ensure timely and accurate payments to external vendors, including verifying invoices against
  5. purchase orders and agreements.
  6. Oversee accounts receivable, including billing, collections, and aging reports to ensure timely payments.
  • Accounts Receivable
  1. Coordinate with the Brands to get the payments.
  2. Raise invoices
  3. Follow up on payments
  • Employee Salary Processing:
  1. Process payroll accurately and on time, including calculating salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
  2. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including tax with holdings and benefits deductions.
  3. Maintain payroll records and provide necessary documentation for audits.
  4. Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
  • Financial Reporting:
  1. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  2. Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, identifying variances and trends.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  1. Support the budgeting process by gathering data, preparing budget reports, and providing variance analysis.
  2. Assist in financial forecasting and modeling for departmental budgets.
  • Audit Support:
  1. Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  2. Implement recommendations from audits to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  1. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
  2. Monitor financial transactions for potential risks and implement appropriate controls.
  • Finance Controller across Verticals
  1. Making sure different teams stick within the budgets aligned
  2. Bringing it to the leadership teams to notice if budgets have been overspent.
  3. Making sure that the errors are not repeated
  4. Keeping a strict check on all spends across org.
  5. The candidate will be responsible to manage everything finance end to end for any new pilot
  6. venture under LehLah.
  • Team Collaboration:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and provide financial insights.
  2. Train and mentor junior staff in accounting practices and company policies.
  • Due - Diligence
  • Make sure all payouts happen efficiently and accurately
  • Tracking all ends and making sure that there are no discrepancies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
