1. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of Internal Audit Plan- across project-sites Pan India based on Risk-Analysis of different project-sites and different Business Processes. This will involve scheduling of the project-site visits.
  • Rolling out the Internal Audit Plan and carrying out the Internal Audit Process
  • Finalizing the Internal Audit Process. The Internal Audit process is likely to involve (indicative list):
- Understanding the various business processes and their Risk profile
- Observing the records and supporting documents
- Collection of data/ evidence
- Other methods of observing (eg. Physical Verification) and collecting data.
- Drawing inferences/ opinion (Internal Audit Findings)
- Suggesting Improvement in business processes
- Prepare and present to management the Audit Reports based on above
  • The Internal Audit Plan shall cover all Business Processes which have financial implications and shall cover among others:
- Purchase/ Contract
- Stores & Inventory
- Cash & Bank Payments & Receipts
- Client Billing
- Recording of Financial Transactions including booking of Expenses
  • The Internal Auditor shall continuously analyze the Risk Profile of the Sites/ Business Processes and accordingly change the extent of Internal Audit Process
  • The Internal Auditor shall work as a conduit between management and sites for implementation of the process changes necessitated by Internal Audit findings.
  • The position will have to assess the requirement of Internal Audit Resources and shall be involved in recruiting, training and mentoring of the Internal Audit team.
2. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Level of Education -
Software knowledge -

- CA
- ERP experience is preferred. Should be proficient with Tally9 & MS-Office

Industry Experience

- Candidates from site-oriented industries like Infrastructure /Mining / Road / Construction & Real Estate (or manufacturing with multiple locations) having Internal Audit experience will be preferred. Candidates from Audit/Consultancy background may also be considered in case the candidate has worked in site-centric roles in the past.

Experience

- Minimum 8 to 10 years post-qualification experience

Other Essential Skills

- In addition to the above qualities, he should have experience of looking for details, thorough scrutiny abilities & preparation of clear & presentable reports.
- Should be willing to make intermittent site visits, averaging 15 days in a month.
- Should be able to lead a team of 4-8 people.
- Should be able to effectively communicate and co-ordinate with project-sites.
