Job Description

• Independently manage a wide range of GST related assignments including retainership, compliances, tax reviews, GST audit, departmental audits and scrutiny, etc.
• Foster client engagement by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving issues within agreed timelines, and working closely with our support team to ensure that client needs are met.
• Ensure the timely execution of deliverables, both technical and non-technical.
• Offer guidance and consultation on GST matters to clients, including providing insights on tax implications related to new business deals and other relevant scenarios.
• Representation before revenue authorities including up to the level of Commissioner/Commissioner (Appeal) concerning EA 2000 audit, CERA audit and DGCEI Investigations, Scrutiny, Assessment, Refund etc.
• Preparation and submission of Appeal before CESTAT,
• Preparation and submission of relevant data, reconciliations and information as required by revenue authorities.

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Tally to effectively manage and analyze client data.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of indirect taxes, including GST, Service Tax, and Value Added Tax (VAT), with a specialization in litigation.
• Prior experience in handling GST related assignments such as GST audit, tax reviews, and compliances, etc.
• Expertise in indirect taxation that includes compliance, advisory, and departmental representation/litigation.
• Good drafting skill in respect to the replies to the various Show Cause Notices received and ongoing notices received from Goods and Service Tax, Service Tax and Sales Tax department

• Chartered Accountant with at least 8 years of post qualification experience in consulting/CA firm.
