Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive International Business financial planning.
2. Must have in-depth knowledge of handling subsidiary companies\' finance and account.
3. Assess and evaluate the financial performance of an International Business with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
4. Provide financial insights and recommendations for the International business short-term and long-term growth plans.
5. Finalizing the balance sheet and presenting the MIS as per the decided cost sheet and schedule.
6. Managing statutory compliance and adhering to it.
7. Communicate, collaborate and work closely with the Management Team to achieve yearly bottom line projections.
8. Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the International Businesss plan for growth and expansion.
9. Mentor and develop a team managing work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.
10. Manage the finance function across revenue assurance, general accounting, FP&A, banking, direct & indirect taxation, transfer pricing, and MIS.
11. Ensure that tax and regulatory payments, returns, and filing are up-to-date and compliant.
12. Budgeting - lead and report the budgeting process, and business planning.
13. Identify and implement best practices to make the International Business, financial processes, and internal controls more efficient and effective.
14. Prepare reports as required for Audit Committee, Executive Committee, and Board meetings; prepare quarterly consolidated accounts; ensure compliance of financials with IAS/IFRS accounting standards.
Required Skill Sets:
1 Chartered Accountant with 10-20 years of relevant work experience.
2 Experience in international stakeholder management is a must including subsidiaries finance and accounts.
3 Excellent verbal with written communication and presentation skills are extremely critical for this role.
4 Should be able to identify profitable areas of the business and work with internal stakeholders to bridge the gaps.
5 Ability to be a solution driver in a challenging environment.
6 Good understanding of fundamental business dynamics.
7 Ability to translate organizational goals into a strategic plan aligned with the corporate financial direction.
8 Detail-oriented and experienced in follow-through and completion of projects.
9 Demonstrated ability to analyse operations and implement procedures to course correct /effect change.
