Job description
Role & responsibilities

1.Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that support the companys business goals.
  • Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Analyze market trends and economic conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
  • 2.Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to assess the company\'s financial performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis.
3.Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry-specific guidelines.
  • Manage internal audits and external audits, coordinating with regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
4.Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
  • Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
5.Cost Control and Efficiency:
  • Implement effective cost management strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements within the finance function.
6.Cash Flow Management:
  • Oversee cash management, ensuring sufficient liquidity and monitoring cash flow projections.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
7.Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational initiatives and objectives.
  • Communicate financial insights and strategies to senior management and the board of directors.
Qualifications:
  • Professional accounting certification (ICAI, ICWAI).
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5-8 years in a leadership position within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards (Indian GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
