Job description
Role & responsibilities
1.Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the companys business goals.
- Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
- Analyze market trends and economic conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
- 2.Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to assess the company\'s financial performance.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis.
3.Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry-specific guidelines.
- Manage internal audits and external audits, coordinating with regulatory authorities as necessary.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
4.Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
- Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
5.Cost Control and Efficiency:
- Implement effective cost management strategies to maximize profitability.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements within the finance function.
6.Cash Flow Management:
- Oversee cash management, ensuring sufficient liquidity and monitoring cash flow projections.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
7.Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational initiatives and objectives.
- Communicate financial insights and strategies to senior management and the board of directors.
Qualifications:
- Professional accounting certification (ICAI, ICWAI).
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5-8 years in a leadership position within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards (Indian GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
