Qualification : CA / ICWA

Job Description :

Business Planning :
Initiate and drive the business planning exercise on an annual basis by liasoning and provide direction to other departments through identified external environmental opportunities and threats and existing organizational priorities.

Business Processes :
Lead the business process of controlling the capital and revenue expenditures with special focus on annual budgets. This will include project appraisals, cost-benefit analysis and viability studies for all major capex to ensure healthy IRR.

Financial Monitoring & Reporting :
Provide direction, review and enhance the accounting and reporting practices from time to time in line with regulatory environment and the organizational financial policies to provide a comprehensive picture of organizational performance for the management\'s view and action.Comply with IRFS- M&M Corporate guidelines.Set up of an accounting system in SAP.

Cost Control :
Put in place mechanisms to monitor and build efficiencies in cost control so as to identify and leverage cost reduction opportunities on a continuous basis across functions.

Statutory Compliance :
Put in place mechanisms and build a culture of adherence to all accounting and auditing requirements to ensure all regulatory obligations like Income Tax, Sales Tax, Excise, Customs and Statutory Internal/External Audits are fulfilled as prescribed.
Responsible for all statutory compliances

Building External Relationships :
Establish and maintain relations with banks, financial institutions, lawyers/advocates and other external parties as appropriate for the organization.

Building Organizational Capability
Creating awareness and building orientation across departments towards better process adherence and cost conscious culture.
Inculcate & demonstrate the best practises which includes

Environment Scanning :
Scans the economic and financial external environment to interpret and advise management the changes and their impact on the organizational plans and operations.

Legal :
Review and provide timely advice on legal matters (civil, criminal, corporate) with consultation with the external experts as needed and interpret various legal circulars/ changes impacting the organisation

MIS Management :
Do Risk Analysis and manage mitigation plans including insurances.

Fuctional Competencies :
✓Basic knowledge of direct & Indirect Taxes
✓ Well versed with IFRS, ERP-SAP exposure
✓ International Trade & Transfer Pricing
✓ Good in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
