Primary Responsibilities
1. MIS Preparation
- Co-ordinate with the India sales business, operations, corporate functions
- Report financials of the cost and profit centres for India
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Prepare gap analysis and analyse the root cause
- Preparation of cash flows and comparison with plan numbers; analyse and report variances
- Support in preparing presentations for MIS and presentation to the Board
- Streamlining cost reporting to various function at India.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Coordinate annual budgeting exercise for India comprising profitability, working capital and cash flows
- Coordinate monthly forecasts of sales and profitability to present to management, monitor YTD gaps vs. budget and track progress of gap closure actions.
3. Analytics
- Perform various business and financial analyses of the global business to support ongoing financial reporting and evaluations
- Standardise the templates for reporting of employee cost and OFC.
- Analyse the cost with respect to budgets and co-ordinate with other functions to find the root cause and present key findings
- Co-ordination with plant accountant to set the standards and standardise report for variable cost
- Create dashboards for reporting of Sales and costs
4. Other Projects
- Undertake specific projects from time to time.
Required Skills and Responsibilities
- CA / MBA from Tier 1, Tier 2 institutes with 2-3 years of work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of corporate finance and accounting
- Experience in FP&A role would be an added advantage.
- Experience PowerBI would be an added advantage
- Business support oriented with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment analytical and problem-solving skills.
