Job description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Management:
1. Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
2. Conduct financial analysis, highlighting trends, variances, and potential risks.
3. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, taxation and optimize liquidity.
Accounting Operations:
1. Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and reporting.
3. Implement and enforce accounting policies and controls to comply with regulations and standards
Audit and Compliance:
1. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
2. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including tax compliance.
3. Identify and mitigate financial risks and develop internal controls
Financial Reporting and Strategy:
1. Prepare financial reports for stakeholders, including variance analysis and key financial metrics.
2. Provide strategic insights and financial advice to senior management to support decision-making.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and operational improvements
Stakeholder Management:
1. Communicate financial information and analysis effectively to internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and board members.
2. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall organizational objectives.
Apart from the duties and responsibilities listed above, any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Educational Qualification(s): Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or Masters Degree
Prior Experience:
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a management position
