Position: Dy. Manager-Legal & Secretarial
Qualification: LLB
Experience: 2 to 5 years
Location: Mumbai


Job description
2) Ability to independently handle the litigations under civil, criminal and commercial laws.
3) Independently drafting/vetting of various Commercial Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Bank Guarantees, POs, Agency Contracts, Supply/Service Contracts, agreements pertaining to real estate/property matters, etc and drafting/vetting of Legal Notices/ Replies, Plaints, Written Statements, Claims, Counter Claim, Complaints, etc. as required in day to day legal processes.
4) Co-ordinate with external advisors/consultants like Advocates / Counsels / Solicitors firms in respect of the legal matters of the Company in Mumbai/Delhi.
5) Handling of Labour matters in Bombay High Court in co-ordination with HR&IR Head at Company\'s Plant/s.


NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENT Good command over Verbal and Written communication skills in English Language.

  • Adept at MS Office WORD and EXCEL very essential.

Main Responsibilities

1) Support the Head Legal in managing the Litigation of Company across all forums.
2) Ability to independently handle the litigations under civil, criminal and commercial laws.
3) Independently drafting/vetting of various Commercial Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Bank Guarantees, POs, Agency Contracts, Supply/Service Contracts, agreements pertaining to real estate/property matters, etc and drafting/vetting of Legal Notices/ Replies, Plaints, Written Statements, Claims, Counter Claim, Complaints, etc. as required in day to day legal processes.
4) Co-ordinate with external advisors/consultants like Advocates / Counsels / Solicitors firms in respect of the legal matters of the Company in Mumbai/Delhi.
5) Handling of Labour matters in Bombay High Court in co-ordination with HR&IR Head at Company\'s Plant/s.
6) Managing cases under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC) before NCLT & NCLAT, handling Property Matters (Due Diligence);
7) Maintaining excellent coordination with various cross functional business teams for efficient functioning of legal team.
8) Providing advice on various legal issues involved in business and commercial transactions.
9) Attending day to day court matters & representing Company before various courts/forums.
10) Prepare and maintain Weekly/Monthly MIS and making briefs/synopsis of the cases and maintaining the case files, documents & records.
12) Assist and take necessary instructions from Head Legal in all legal matters and report to him about all legal cases.
